The Nation carrier of the Maldives, Maldivian has launched a ‘Throughfare’ service that is set to elevate the traveller experience in the Maldives. Through this newly introduced Throughfare service, travellers of Maldivian can now connect to three international destinations with domestic flights to the Maldives
With this new introduction, customers who are travelling on domestic flights will have the advantage of being able to book their international destination in the itinerary when they’re purchasing the tickets. As of now, the Trhoughfare tickets are available for passengers who are arriving on domestic flights to Dhaka, Bengaluru, and Colombo. In addition to having the benefit of the option to book domestic flights within the same itinerary, Maldivian also announced some enticing fares for popular destinations such as Bengaluru and Colombo. With the introduction of this new service, Maldivian is also offering a 5-perfect discount on passengers who are taking advantage of the Trhoughfare services.
One of the other additional benefits of this new Throughfare service includes the same baggage allowance being provided for both international as well as domestic travel. Not only does this offer greater flexibility for the passengers but it also makes the destination more accessible..
The airline has also stated that the Throughfare services will be expanded to include Trivandrum and Kochi in the near future as well.
