The Maldives Meteorology (Met Maldives) published the outlook for June to September 2026; showcasing above-normal rainfall and a higher minimum and maximum temperature expected across most of the Maldives.
According to its publication, the total rainfall, minum and maximum temperatures are expected to be above normal over most parts of the country during June to September 2026.
Met Maldives noted that this forecast has been created based on April climate conditions, and it represents the overall characteristics of rainfall and temepratures from June to September period. Furthermore, the publication states that changes in climatic conditions and subsequent changes in monthly rainfall and temperature will be monitored and updated through monthly climate outlook.
