MACL signs MoU to develop Sh. Milandhoo Airport
In addition to the signing of the MoU, on 15 October 2025, the project was also officiated by the CEO and Managing Director of MACL.

The Maldives Airports Company Ltd (MACL) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Ministry of Finance and Planning to commence the development of Sh. Milandhoo Airport, along with the associated land reclamation works.
In addition to the signing of the MoU, on 15 October 2025, the project was also officiated by the CEO and Managing Director of MACL, Ibrahim Shareef Mohamed, Minister of Finance and Planning, Moosa Zameer, Milandhoo Parliament Member, Hassan Mufeed, and Milandhoo Council President, Abdulla Athif.
Just one day prior, MACL signed a similar MoU with the Ministry of Finance and Planning and initiated the development of Sh. Komandoo Airport along with related land reclamation works.
