On May 12 2026, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between the Department of National Registration and SME Digital.
The purpose of this MoU is to facilitate KYC verification through secure API integration. This initiative will enable SME Digital to provide faster and more efficient services to customers.
The MoU was signed by Deputy Minister Ahmed Ali on behalf of the Department of National Registration, and by CEO Badhurudheen Hassan on behalf of SME Digital.
