Maldivian welcomes home pilgrims returning from Hajj 2026

On 08 June 2026, Maldivian, the national airline of the Maldives, announced that it had transported Maldivian pilgrims back to the country following the completion of Hajj 2026.

In a post shared on its official social media platforms, the airline stated that it had the honour of carrying pilgrims home after they completed the annual Islamic pilgrimage in Saudi Arabia.

According to Maldivian, the return journey marked the conclusion of a significant period of faith, prayer and devotion for the pilgrims who participated in Hajj this year.

The airline noted that its crew welcomed the pilgrims onboard and provided services throughout the journey back to the Maldives. Maldivian described the opportunity to serve the returning pilgrims as a privilege and extended a welcome home message to all those arriving from the pilgrimage.

The return of the pilgrims marks the completion of their Hajj journey and their arrival back in the Maldives following the conclusion of this year's pilgrimage season.
