Maldivian, the national airline of the Maldives, participated in the “Encounter the Maldives – Start a Luxury Vacation Roadshow” held in Beijing, China, as part of efforts to promote the Maldives as a premier tourism destination.
According to Maldivian, the event highlighted the natural beauty, hospitality, and unique travel experiences offered by the Maldives. The roadshow brought together industry partners, tourism stakeholders, and invited guests to showcase the Maldives' appeal to the Chinese travel market.
The event was organised in collaboration with the Embassy of the Maldives in China, Visit Maldives, Beijing Guoce International Conference & Exhibition Center, and Luxury Times Magazine.
Maldivian stated that its participation reflected the airline's commitment to supporting initiatives aimed at strengthening tourism links between the Maldives and international markets. As the national carrier, the airline noted that such events play an important role in increasing destination awareness and encouraging more travellers to visit the Maldives.
China has traditionally been one of the Maldives' key tourism source markets, and promotional activities such as roadshows are conducted to enhance visibility and foster partnerships within the travel industry.
Through its participation in the Beijing event, Maldivian joined other stakeholders in promoting the Maldives as a world-class holiday destination and supporting efforts to attract more visitors to the country.
