Maldivian, the national airline of the Maldives, has announced the launch of its new flight services between Hanimaadhoo International Airport and Bangalore, India, commencing on May 15, 2025.
This exciting new route is available for passengers to book starting from March 16, 2025, with early booking options allowing travellers to plan and secure their journeys well in advance. The Hanimaadhoo-Bangalore route is now available for booking through all Maldivian sales channels including the official website, mobile application as well as ticketing offices.
We are thrilled to expand our network with the introduction of the Hanimaadhoo-Bangalore route. This new service not only enhances travel options for our passengers but also strengthens the cultural and economic ties between the Maldives and India. With our existing services between Trivandrum and Hanimaadhoo, we are further solidifying our commitment to connecting the northern islands with key regional destinations. Travellers are also given the option to explore two weekly flights on this route, with departures scheduled for every Sunday and Thursday. The flight schedule is thoughtfully designed to cater to the needs of both leisure and business travellers, particularly during peak travel periods.
