Maldivian announces direct flights to Meemu Muli

On 20 May 2025, Maldivian, the national airline of the Maldives, announced the proud inauguration of direct flights to Meemu Muli, marking the first time the airline is operating to the atoll.

According to the airlines official website, the inaugural flight took place earlier on May 20, during the Muli Airport Opening ceremony attended by the President of the Republic of Maldives, His Excellency, Dr. Mohamed Muizzu, along with other high-ranking government officials and dignitaries.

This new route launched today introduces a seamless 35-minute journey that significantly enhances accessibility to Meemu Atoll for both locals and visitors. The launch of this service underscores Maldivian’s ongoing commitment to improving regional connectivity and supporting economic and tourism growth across the Maldives.
