According to statistics published by the Tourism Ministry, by 5th April 2025, the Maldives has seen a total number of 667,730 tourist arrivals so far. This number reflects the positive impact of the marketing and efforts being carried out on a large scale to amp up and diversify the tourism sector in the Maldives. In recent months, the Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC) has been carrying out major initiatives to market the country to some of its vital markets. With the club having a powerful marketing platform that brings in 205 million global followers, 211 million TV viewers per season and 53 million social media followers, this marketing campaign is expected to bring in even more travellers to the Maldives this year.
