The Maldives Airports Company Limited (MACL) has successfully concluded a three-day training programme focused on IGOM Implementation and Standardised Procedures, aimed at strengthening operational safety and service consistency in ground handling.
According to MACL, the programme was attended by 20 participants and centered on aligning ground handling processes with internationally recognized International Air Transport Association (IATA) standards.
The training was designed to enhance participants’ understanding of the IATA Ground Operations Manual (IGOM) and standardized operational procedures, reinforcing MACL’s commitment to safer, more efficient, and globally aligned airport service practices.
Through the programme, participants were equipped with the knowledge and practical frameworks needed to support consistent service delivery while improving safety measures across ground operations.
MACL stated that such initiatives play an important role in maintaining international best practices and ensuring that airport ground services continue to meet evolving global aviation standards.
