MACL announces final inspection of Taxiway Charlie

On 08 January 2026, the Maldives Airports Company Ltd (MACL) announced that the final inspection of Taxiway Charlie (Taxiway C) Phase 2 was conducted by the Maldives Civil Aviation Authority.
The inspection was conducted with the coordination of the relevant departments at MACL. According to the company, the reconstructed section of the Taxiway C spans 548 metres, with works completed between 18 August 2025 and 08 January 2026. With this, MACL marks a key milestone in enhancing airside infrastructure, safety, and operational efficiency at the airport.
