Saudi Arabian low-cost carrier flynas has resumed its direct flight services between Riyadh and Malé, according to an announcement by Velana International Airport.

In a post shared on social media, Velana Airport confirmed the resumption of the airline's operations to the Maldives, with flights operating three times a week between Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and Malé.

The resumption of the route is expected to improve air connectivity between Saudi Arabia and the Maldives, providing travellers with additional options to visit the island destination.

Velana Airport highlighted that the return of flynas services adds more connections and travel opportunities for passengers travelling between the two countries.

The three weekly flights are expected to support tourism and strengthen air links between the Maldives and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
