Maldivian Airlines announces new route to Bangalore

Maldivian Airlines, the esteemed flag carrier of the Maldives, has unveiled plans to inaugurate its eagerly awaited flight operations to Bangalore, India, beginning October 30th, 2023. 

The impending launch of the Bangalore route stands as a momentous occasion for both Maldivian Airlines and discerning travellers seeking seamless travel connections between the Maldives and India. With Bangalore's illustrious history, diverse cultural tapestry, and thriving business prospects, the city is set to be a remarkable inclusion in Maldivian Airlines' ever-growing constellation of destinations.

India is already a popular destination among Maldivian travellers who seek to explore the diverse culture of India in addition to those who travel to the country for healthcare reasons. As India is one of the most commonly visited countries for medical reasons, this new addition of the route makes it more accessible for passengers looking to book tickets to India. 

Prospective travellers can look forward to securing their travel plans well in advance, as ticket bookings for the new Bangalore route will open on August 16th, 2023. Maldivian Airlines has also announced that they will be operating two weekly flights to Bangalore, departing every Monday and Thursday.
