There is always something so exciting about people gathering in the same place to enjoy food, drinks and discounts on goods. Whether it is a street market or a night market, the joy and happiness one gets from attending these events are unexplainable.

Maybe it is that you find the one good snack you have been searching for all over the city or finally find a really good discount on the expensive product you have been eyeing for months. Still, a night market is a place that brings people so much joy and happiness.

Night markets in the Maldives are something people look forward to every year. Almost like an annual celebration, night markets are hosted right before Ramadan, making it easier to retailers to connect with their customers. Ramadan night markets are the place to be if you’re around. Almost celebrated like a carnival or festivity, each year’s night market brings a new ray of joy and hope for those looking for lower prices on products or even the excitement of doing some shopping.

Like any other year, the Male’ City Council is aiming to host the night market again this year. In order to facilitate spots for retailers in this year’s night market or street fair that will be hosted in both Hulhumale’ Phase I and Phase II, the Male’ City Council has announced that the request for slots is officially opened.

By applying for the opportunity to take part in the night market, retailers would secure their spot in the night market, allowing them to easily find customers to purchase their products while also taking part in one of the most exciting events that take place in the City before Ramadan.
