On 02 January 2026, the Male’ Water and Sewerage Company Pvt. Ltd. (MWSC) announced that the team had successfully completed the installation, testing, and commissioning of the water and sewerage connections, as well as the water boosting system, across all towers of Amaan Dhoadhi and Amaan Undhares - a 4,000-unit social housing project.
In September 2024, the Fahi Dhiriulhun Corporation Ltd. (FDC) announced the completion of the structural work on all the Amaan Undhares towers. The development of the towers was contracted to Kalpataru Projects International Limited (KPIL), while the National Buildings Construction Corporation Ltd (NBCC) developed the Amaan Dhoadhi towers.
With the completion of the installation, testing, and commissioning of the water and sewerage connections, as well as the water boosting system, across all towers of Amaan Dhoadhi and Amaan Undhares, MWSC noted that the company has reached a milestone, with water and sewerage services now fully in place at all housing units.
