This enhanced offering, available on an on-demand basis, the service enables patients requiring emergency medical evacuations and specialized treatments to access renowned healthcare facilities in these destinations. The service will be delivered through strategic partnerships with internationally accredited Air Ambulance service providers.
This initiative fulfills a key commitment by the government to strengthen healthcare accessibility for all Maldivians. It has been implemented in close collaboration with the Ministry of Health, the National Social Protection Agency (NSPA), Aasandha, Ministry of Finance and Planning and Ministry of Transport and Civil Aviation.
