Maldivian announces direct flights to Jeddah for Umrah travellers
The first of these flights is scheduled for 22 July 2025, and marks a significant milestone as Maldivian will be operating its first-ever Umrah flight in collaboration with Al Musafir Hajj & Umrah (The Traveller).
Maldivian, the national airline of the Maldives has announced the airlines decision to support the journeys of Maldivian pilgrims by operating dedicated Umrah flights this year. According to the airline, a total of three non-stop flights will be operated, transporting over 750 passengers directly to the city of Jeddah this July.
The first of these flights is scheduled for 22 July 2025, and marks a significant milestone as Maldivian will be operating its first-ever Umrah flight in collaboration with Al Musafir Hajj & Umrah (The Traveller). This new partnership reflects the airline’s commitment to supporting a wider network of travel organizers in delivering meaningful and seamless pilgrimage experiences.

The remaining two flights are being coordinated in collaboration with the Maldives Hajj Corporation, a trusted and long-standing partner in organising pilgrimage travel for the Maldivian community, including the successful facilitation of Hajj pilgrim flights earlier this year.
