President Muizzu appoints his cabinet members

Post-inauguration, the swearing-in ceremony for the new cabinet unfolded in the President's office. Comprising 22 members, this educated and skilled team represents a larger and potentially more diverse cabinet than those of past administrations. The new cabinet includes:

  2. Minister of Foreign Affairs - Moosa Zameer
  3. Minister of Homeland, Security and Technology - Ali Ihusan
  4. Attorney General - Ahmed Usham
  5. Minister of Economic Development and Trade - Mohamed Saeed
  6. Minister of Finance- Dr Mohamed Shafeeg
  7. Minister of Housing, Land and Urban Development - Dr Ali Haidhar Ahmed
  8. Minister of Climate Change, Environment & Energy - Thorig Ibrahim
  9. Minister of Construction and Infrastructure - Dr Abdulla Mutthalib
  10. Minister of Health - Dr Abdulla Khaleel
  11. Minister of Sports, Fitness & Recreation - Abdulla Rafeeu
  12. Minister of Youth Empowerment, Information & Arts - Ibrahim Waheed

The oath-taking and presentation of letters of appointment took place on the 17th November evening at 7:45 PM in the President's Office. Upon their appointment, the cabinet ministers signed the declaration of the oath.

The cabinet ministers took their oath of office before the Supreme Court Chief Justice, Hon. Uz Ahmed Muthasim Adnan.
