BML opens up for its Internship Program

The Bank of Maldives (BML) has opened applications for its internship program for this year.
This 12-month program is conducted by the Bank of Maldives for students and graduates of higher education institutions in the Maldives.
Since its inception, the program has supported graduates from diverse fields. This year, it has been further expanded with the introduction of the TechStart Internship Program, offering specialised opportunities for IT students alongside graduate interns.
Internship opportunities:
- Graduate Internship Program: 15 Interns – Placements across all Divisions of the Bank.
- TechStart Internship program: 10 Interns – Placement across the Technology Division of the bank.
During the internship, the students and graduates will get hands-on experience in various business units and branches. The monthly allowances for this year’s graduate internships have been increased to MVR 9,000, and TechStart interns will receive an allowance of MVR 11,000 per month.
Since its launch in 2018, the BML Internship Program has supported 77 interns, and some of these interns have been offered permanent positions at the Bank.
