Gaafu Alif becomes the 10th Atoll to have ATM services established on all inhabited islands

The Bank of Maldives (BML) has announced the launch of new Self-Service Banking ATM centres in Kondey and Kanduhulhudhoo, marking a significant milestone in the bank's commitment to financial inclusion. With these new installations, Gaafu Alifu Atoll becomes the 10th atoll in the Maldives to have BML ATM services available on all inhabited islands.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by Minister of Construction, Housing and Infrastructure, Dr. Abdulla Muththalib, BML Chairperson Ahmed Ali Habeeb, BML CEO and Managing Director Mohamed Shareef and senior officials of the Bank.
The new ATM centres will provide 24-hour access to essential banking services, including cash withdrawal, deposit, and transfer facilities, for both individuals and businesses. This strategic expansion is part of the Bank's "Mulhi Raajje ah BML ATM" initiative, aimed at ensuring convenient and reliable banking services are available to every community across the country.
