BML successfully introduces ATM services across Laamu Atoll
Over the course of this week, the Bank will be completing the introduction of ATM services in Kunahandhoo, Dhanbidhoo, Maabaidhoo, Mundoo, Isdhoo and Kalaidhoo, marking the milestone of covering all the inhabited islands of Laamu Atoll.
The Bank of Maldives (BML) has inaugurated ATM service in Laamu Hithadhoo as part of the Bank’s "Mulhi Raajje ah BML ATM" program. In addition, a groundbreaking ceremony was held for a new BML branch on the island.
The ceremony was attended by President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu, Ministers, BML Chairperson Ahmed Ali Habeeb, BML CEO and Managing Director Mohamed Shareef, and senior officials of the Bank.
Over the course of this week, the Bank will be completing the introduction of ATM services in Kunahandhoo, Dhanbidhoo, Maabaidhoo, Mundoo, Isdhoo and Kalaidhoo, marking the milestone of covering all the inhabited islands of Laamu Atoll.
The launch of ATM services in these 7 islands in Laamu Atoll will bring the total number of islands in which new ATMs have been introduced under the "Mulhi Raajje ah BML ATM" program this year to 103.This is undoubtedly one of the biggest projects we have undertaken and reflects our commitment to financial inclusion and supporting local growth.
