BML

This Ramadan, the employees of the Bank of Maldives (BML) have taken the initiative to donate to MOMS Aid's Ramadan Aid program, which was created in order to help families who are struggling to meet their basic needs during the month of Ramadan. MOMS Aid is a non-profit organisation in the Maldives, which aims to educate the community on issues relating to violence against women; the risks involved, actions to eliminate violence, and methods to provide support to those who are exposed to vulnerable situations. In addition to this, MOMS Aid plays a key role in  assisting women who are escaping abusive situations with temporary shelter and directs them to get the necessary mental health support

The staff of BML have been very generous when it came to helping families who are facing various difficulties in life through donating to Moms Air's Ramadan Aid Program. With this assistance, MOMS Aid will assist families living in different parts of Sri Lanka.

We would like to thank the BML staff for their support. Such donations are a great confidence in the organization's efforts to help the community and will facilitate assistance to many families.

The bank employees assist various organizations every year during the month of Ramadan. In addition to supporting MOMS Aid in the past, the employees of the bank have also supported Advocating the Rights of Children (ARC) in recent years.
