The Bank of Maldives (BML) has advised customers to complete and update their mailing addresses to solve the difficulties encountered in sending their cards directly to their homes through Maldives Post.
We attach great importance to delivering the cards to the customers as easily and securely as possible. When delivering the cards to the customers, we notice that customers do not live at the address given to the bank. Until the card is handed over to the customer to ensure security, the card will not be activated. No transaction can be made with the card. The card can only be activated by the customer.
In their statement, BML noted that customers can easily update their mailing address through the banks' website as well as mobile banking application. Although the card delivery services in the Greater Male' Area are being carried out in collaboration with the Maldives Post, in islands, the cards are being delivered by employees of the bank.
