BML opens an additional branch in Kulhudhuffushi City

This additional branch will become the Bank’s new Business Centre in Kulhudhuffushi City, dedicated to supporting local businesses in the city and wider atoll.

The Bank of Maldives (BML) today held a groundbreaking ceremony for its second branch in Kulhudhuffushi City as part of its ongoing strategy to expand banking services across the country. 

The ceremony was attended by President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu, Ministers, BML Chairperson Ahmed Ali Habeeb, BML CEO and Managing Director Mohamed Shareef and senior officials of the Bank. 

This additional branch will become the Bank’s new Business Centre in Kulhudhuffushi City, dedicated to supporting local businesses in the city and wider atoll. Once completed, this will be the Bank’s third Business Centre, adding to its centres in Male’ City and Addu City. 

We continue to focus on enhancing our presence and services in the atolls, with a particular emphasis on key regional hubs like Kulhudhuffushi City. Today, we are delighted to take a significant step forward in providing support to the business community here with a new branch dedicated to businesses.

Earlier today, the Bank opened its branch and ATM in Nolhivaranfaru and also introduced ATM services in Vaikaradhoo and Neykurendhoo. 

Bank of Maldives is the country’s leading financial institution, with an extensive network comprising 42 branches across all 20 atolls, 154 Self Service Banking Centres, 213 ATMs and advanced Digital Banking solutions.
