The Bank of Maldives (BML) has launched its new corporate campaign, ‘Dhiveheenge Bank - Mulhi Raajje ah’. The campaign reaffirms the Bank’s foundational commitment to the Maldivian people and its pivotal role in energizing the nation’s economy.
The campaign was launched by His Excellency President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu at an event held this morning.
In his keynote address, Mohamed Shareef, CEO and Managing Director of BML recalled the Bank’s founding mission in 1982 to extend its services beyond commercial banking, to fulfil the vision of national progress. The ‘Dhiveheenge Bank - Mulhi Raajje ah’ campaign celebrates this enduring legacy, positioning Bank of Maldives not just as a financial institution, but as a vital partner in the nation's journey — supporting individuals, businesses and communities across the country.
Shareef further underscored the Bank’s unique position as the bank of the Maldivian people, stating “Bank of Maldives stands at the forefront of technological advancement, introducing modern and innovative banking solutions that have transformed the country’s financial landscape. The Bank is recognized not only for being the largest employer for Maldivians in the financial sector, but also for fostering local talent and supporting growth throughout the nation.”
