Bank of Maldives today announced the introduction of a new USD ATM service in AA. Thoddoo. In addition, a groundbreaking ceremony was held for a new BML branch on the island.
The ceremonies were attended by President Dr Mohamed Muizzu, Ministers, Bank of Maldives Chairperson Ahmed Ali Habeeb, CEO and Managing Director Mohamed Shareef, Board Directors and senior officials.
We’re delighted to expand our services in Thoddoo to support the island’s thriving local tourism industry and its unique agritourism sector. We launched our ATM services in Thoddoo five years ago and today, with the new USD ATM, businesses and residents alike can now enjoy convenient access to USD, without having to travel to another island. The new branch, expected to be completed next year, will bring our full suite of banking services even closer to the community.
