BML establishes ATM services in all islands of Meemu Atoll
This strategic expansion reinforces the Bank’s position as the Maldives' leading financial institution, with an extensive network comprising 39 branches across all 20 atolls, 121 Self Service Banking Centres, 179 ATMs, comprehensive Agent Banking Services, and advanced Digital Banking solutions.
The Bank of Maldives (BML) has expanded its services in Meemu Atoll with the establishment of new self-service ATMs in seven islands as part of the “Mulhi Raajje ah BML ATM" initiative to install ATMs in all inhabited islands by the end of the year 2025.
We are proud to extend our services to all communities in Meemu Atoll, reinforcing our mission to make banking accessible to all. ATMs play a crucial role in bringing customers into the formal banking system and as we expand our physical network, we remain committed to enhancing our digital banking services. The Bank will continue to innovate, to cater for the growing needs of its customers, leveraging partnerships with global card networks and payment solution providers to deliver seamless and secure banking experiences. We are also proud to have recorded more than 1 million transactions and deposits of over MVR 1.45 billion across our ATMs outside Malé City region this year, a clear reflection of strong customer engagement and the importance of enhancing our banking footprint.
