BML announces increase in monthly foreign transection limits for credit cards
The bank took to its official media accounts to announce the new limits on credit cards.

The Bank of Maldives (BML) as announced an increase in the monthly foreign transection limits for credit cards.
The announcement, which was made on 28 January 2026, stated that from 01 February onwards, new monthly customer limits for foreign transection on credit cards will be as follows:
- Classic credit card limit increased from USD750 to USD1,400
- Gold credit card limit increased from USD750 to USD1,500
- Platinum credit card limit increased from USD1,500 to USD3,000
