Bank of Maldives opens applications for Bank Fund

According to the bank, uner this fund, five projects in the areas of education, environment, sports and community development will be selected to receive MVR200,000 each.

On 30 April 2025, the Bank of Maldives announced the opening of applications for the “Bank Fund,” an initiative introduced last year to empower NGOs to contribute to their communities through sustainable projects. 

According to the bank, uner this fund, five projects in the areas of education, environment, sports and community development will be selected to receive MVR200,000 each. 

Clubs and associations registered in Maldives can submit their application forms and proposals at [email protected]. The application form and proposal should be emailed before 4:00 pm on 29th May 2025. 

In addition to this fund, BML has provided assistance to 100 projects across the Maldives through the Community Fund, which ran for a period of 5 years starting from 2019. BML always places great importance on empowering communities and contributing to the development efforts of the country.
