On 27 August 2025, the Bank of Maldives inaugurated ATM services in H.Dh. Kumundhoo as part of the Bank’s "Mulhi Raajje ah BML ATM" program, marking the milestone of ATM coverage in every inhabited island in the atoll.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu, Ministers, BML Chairperson Ahmed Ali Habeeb, BML CEO and Managing Director Mohamed Shareef and senior officials of the Bank.
In addition to Kumundhoo, the Bank also introduced ATM services in Kurinbi earlier on the same day.
With the completion of H.Dh. Kumundhoo, we are proud to announce that we have now expanded our ATM coverage to cover all inhabited islands in 9 atolls across the country.
