The 4th edition of the Three Generation Walk (3GenWalk), organised by Pension Office, is set to be held on 17 October 2026 in HDh. Hanimaadhoo.

Bringing together children, parents and grandparents, 3GenWalk is an intergenerational event that promotes financial literacy, wellbeing and long-term financial security. The event encourages conversations around saving, investing and planning for retirement, highlighting the importance of building healthy financial habits across every stage of life.

At the heart of the event is a symbolic 1 km walk, where generations will walk side by side, highlighting that financial preparedness is a lifelong journey and a shared responsibility across generations.

Following the walk, families will come together for a lively family evening featuring carnival games, interactive stalls, live cultural performances, a food court and activities for all generations.

Through 3GenWalk, Pension Office aims to strengthen connections between generations and create opportunities for families to spend meaningful time together. The event also encourages older persons to remain active and engaged within their families and communities, while creating an inclusive space for generations to connect, share experiences and build greater awareness of financial wellbeing and planning for the future.
