Maldivian, the national carrier of the Maldives, has unveiled an exciting new route, linking the pristine archipelago to the vibrant city of Colombo, Sri Lanka. Commencing operations on the 26th of April 2024, this new service promises enhanced connectivity for travellers seeking leisure, health, and educational experiences.

The introduction of flights to Colombo marks a significant milestone for Maldivian travellers, who frequently flock to Sri Lanka for its diverse attractions and amenities. Whether it's leisurely escapes to scenic landscapes or seeking quality healthcare and educational opportunities, Colombo stands as an enticing destination for Maldivians.

Scheduled for two sectors every Thursday and Saturday, these flights offer convenience and flexibility to passengers. With ticket prices starting at just USD 165, travellers can embark on a seamless journey enriched with comfort and value. Each passenger is entitled to 30 kilograms of checked baggage and an inflight service meal pack, ensuring a pleasant and hassle-free travel experience.

Moreover, in collaboration, Nawaloka Hospital of Colombo is also offering special packages to passengers travelling via the Maldives route, tailored to the needs of its customers. These packages encompass comprehensive health services, including consultations, medical history evaluations, Body Mass Index (BMI) checks, and consultations with dieticians. Additionally, passengers can avail themselves of complimentary dental and eye check-ups.
