MACL has made an announcement regarding the usage of Terminal 1 seaplane passenger bus boarding bay

The announcement, which was published on the company’s official X account on 21 December 2025, stated that the area designated as the seaplane passenger bus boarding bay is reserved exclusively for buses operated by seaplane operators and will be used for passenger loading.

The Maldives Airports Company Ltd (MACL) has made an announcement regarding the usage of Terminal 1 seaplane passenger bus boarding bay.

The announcement, which was published on the company’s official X account on 21 December 2025, stated that the area designated as the seaplane passenger bus boarding bay is reserved exclusively for buses operated by seaplane operators and will be used for passenger loading.

According to MACL, this allocated area will also include a designated bus stop for MACL’s internal bus operations, and seaplane buses will access this area via the road in front of Terminal 1 and will exit through the road adjacent to the seaplane bus boarding bay.

With this, MACL noted that parking or stopping within these designated areas is strictly prohibited, as such actions may disrupt seaplane bus operations.
