The Maldives has taken a significant step forward in providing specialized healthcare services with the opening of Naza Health Rehabilitation Center in Lh. Naifaru. Established by Sanfa Nazahat Ahmed, the centre was made possible through the Bank of Maldives (BML) Startup Grant, a funding initiative aimed at supporting emerging businesses in the country.
Naza Health Rehabilitation Center offers essential rehabilitation services catering to individuals with physical disabilities, sports injuries, neurological conditions, and post-injury rehabilitation needs The center also provides dedicated physical rehabilitation services for women, ensuring accessibility to specialized care in the atolls.
The initiative is expected to play a crucial role in enhancing healthcare services in Lh. Naifaru and surrounding islands by reducing the need for patients to travel long distances to seek rehabilitation care in Malé.
