President Dr Muizzu condemns Israeli aggression against Iran

In his statement, the President stressed that such aggression constitutes a grave violation of international law.

The world has been watching as Iran has quickly started defending itself after Israel has targeted several attacks towards Iran, targeting several Iranian nuclear facilities and military sites. In addition to this, Israel has also reportedly carried out assassinations of top military officials and Iranian nuclear scientists in a wave of strikes that were carried out on 13 June 2025, Friday morning. Later the same day, it was also reported that Israel targeted the city of Tabriz, northwest Iran. Iran has reported a large number of casualties, several of which were citizens. 

Following these attacks, President Dr Mohamed Muizzu, in a statement published on 13 June 2025, condemned Israel’s attack on the Islamic Republic of Iran. In his statement, the President stressed that such aggression constitutes a grave violation of international law. 

President Dr Muizzu also highlighted the urgent need for de-escalation and called on the international community to take immediate action to address these provocations.

Further emphasizing the implications of continued hostilities, the President stressed that further aggression could have devastating consequences not only for Iran but also for neighboring countries and the global community at large.
