During the discussions, Council members highlighted several pressing issues, including the need to address coastal erosion, construct a new school to ease space constraints at Kamadhoo School, and develop a football field for the island’s youth. They also requested a solution to the limited space at the council office, upgrades to the island’s health centre, and the modernisation of roads while preserving the island’s natural environment. Additionally, the Council called for the construction of a mosque and urged the expedited completion of the harbour project.
