MMS announces offical launching of its new brand identity

The Maldives Meteorology (MMS) announced a major milestone for the services. On 20 January 2026, MMS unveiled its official brand identity, reinforcing its role as the national service for weather, climate, and early warning services.

According to Met maldives, the new branding reflects MMS's evolving role as the national service for weather, climate, and early warning services. With this new brand identity, MMS is strengthening how vital information is communicated to safeguard lives, livelihoods, and national resilience.

The MMA Branding was developed with the support of Thayyaaru Project, finded by CIDCA, and implemented by the UNDP. With this refreshed brand, MMS states that they are committed to delivering clear, trusted, and accessible meteorological information for all.
