On 08 October 2025, the Maldives Airports Company Limited (MACL) hosted the groundbreaking ceremony of the Fitness and Recreation Centre in ADh. Mandhoo.
The ceremony was graced by the CEO and Managing Director of MACL, Ibrahim Shareef Mohamed, together with the Minister of Sports, Fitness, and Recreation, Abdulla Raafiu, Parliament Member, Abdulla Rasheed, and Mandhoo Council President, Mohamed Saeed.
According to MACL, his initiative reflects the company's commitment to community development.
