The Government of the Republic of Maldives has welcomed the agreement reached on the Memorandum of Understanding between the United States of America and the Islamic Republic of Iran on addressing outstanding issues between the two countries, including measures aimed at ensuring freedom of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz.
