The ongoing tensions between Israel and Iran has continued to escalate towards the end of June 2025, as America gets involved in the ongoing bombings that are targetting cities of Iran. On 21 June 2025, the tensions continue to escalate as American President Donald Trump announced that the United States has launched three strikes on Iranian nuclear facilities. In his statement, which was published on X (formerly known as Twitter) Trump stated called the strikes military successes.
We have completed our very successful attack on the three Nuclear sites in Iran, including Fordow, Natanz, and Esfahan. All planes are now outside of Iran air space. A full payload of BOMBS was dropped on the primary site, Fordow. All planes are safely on their way home. Congratulations to our great American Congratulations to our great American Warriors. This strike comes after Trump warned Iran that the U.S. military will strike three Iranian nuclear facilities - asking Iran to pursue peace.
If peace does not come quickly, we will go after those other targets with precision, speed and skill. Most of them can be taken out in a matter of minutes.
While the attack on Iran by the U.S. may further escalate the ongoing bombings between the ocuntries, this also marks the first time that the U.S. has struck Iran directly. The implications of the U.S. getting involved are to be seen in the coming days.
