On 14 September 2026, the Maldives Monetary Authority (MMA) opened the opportunity to participate in the Peer Review Pool, which evaluates research papers submitted to the MMA Research Conference. The pool includes educators, teachers and experts in various disciplines.
The primary responsibility of those selected for this pool is to assess the technical quality of research papers submitted to the conference and to provide an independent and scholarly opinion based on the validity of the information and the importance of the research topic.
This pool is open to those with experience in various fields. Applicants are required to have technical expertise in macroeconomics, monetary economics, Islamic finance, public finance, tourism, international trade, digital finance and other conference-related fields.
Papers submitted to the MMA Research Conference will be reviewed on a double blind peer review basis. This means that the reviewer and the teacher do not know each other.
Those who complete their work in accordance with the prescribed rules will receive certificates, salaries and other additional opportunities.
Applications to become a peer reviewer can be made by completing the peer review form on the research conference website.
