The Bank of Maldives (BML) has opened seven branches, reinforcing its commitment to expanding access to banking services across the Maldives. The branches were formally inaugurated this morning by His Excellency, President Dr Mohamed Muizzu.

The newly opened branches are located in:

  • HA. Hoarafushi
  • Sh. Kanditheemu
  • R. Alifushi
  • Lh. Hinnavaru
  • ADh. Maamigili
  • L. Maavah
  • GA. Gemanafushi

With this expansion, Bank of Maldives now operates 55 branches across all 20 atolls, including 17 branches opened over the past two years, reflecting the Bank's sustained investment in nationwide access to financial services.
