Bank of Maldives has today introduced Self-Service Banking ATMs in 7 islands of HA. Atoll, marking the significant milestone of launching ATM services in all inhabited islands of the atoll. The islands where new ATM services are now available are Utheemu, Thuraakunu, Uligan, Mulhadhoo, Maarandhoo, Thakandhoo and Muraidhoo.
The new service was launched in ceremonies held today attended by the Minister of Tourism and Environment and Minister of Economic Development and Trade as well as the Bank’s CEO and Managing Director, Chairperson and its Chief Business Officer.
With the launch of ATMs across Haa Alifu Atoll under our “Mulhi Raajje ah BML ATM” initiative, we are immensely pleased to have made great progress in our journey to expand access to banking across the Maldives. For individuals and businesses in Haa Alifu atoll, today marks a transformative step, with 24/7 access to essential banking services on their residential island.
