BML holds groundbreaking for new branch in Laamu atoll Maavah

The Bank of Maldives (BML) held a groundbreaking ceremony for its new branch in L. Maavah on 20 October 2025.

The ceremony was attended by President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu, Ministers, BML Chairperson Ahmed Ali Habeeb, BML CEO and Managing Director Mohamed Shareef, and senior officials of the Bank.

The Bank currently has branches located in Gamu and Fonadhoo in L. Atoll, providing a full suite of banking services.
