The Bank of Maldives (BML) has expanded its services in Addu to enhance customer experience and accessibility.
As part of the expansion, the Bank opened a new Customer Service Centre at Hithadhoo branch, and established a new USD ATM in Maradhoo. The Bank also held a groundbreaking ceremony for a new branch in Hulhudhoo, demonstrating its ongoing commitment to serving the needs of the local community and supporting economic growth.

In addition to the new services announced today, the Bank provides a full suite of banking services in Addu from three branches in Hithadhoo, Hulhumeedhoo and Maradhoo Feydhoo (BML Gan Branch), as well as its Self-Service Banking ATM network of 11 MVR ATMs and a USD ATM in Hithadhoo Branch. The Bank’s Contact Centre is also located in Addu.
The Gan Branch holds a special place in the Bank’s history, being the first branch of the Bank established outside of Male’ over 40 years ago, in 1983.
Today’s announcement reinforces the Bank’s position as the Maldives' leading financial institution, with an extensive network comprising 42 branches across all 20 atolls, 202 Self Service Banking Centres, 261 ATMs, and advanced Digital Banking solutions. The Bank continues to demonstrate its commitment to supporting communities nationwide through innovative banking solutions and expanded service accessibility.
