The Bank fund winner Foundation of Eydhafushi Youth Linkage (FEYLI) has developed the Vocational Training Lab at B. Atoll Education Centre and opened a Digital Studio.
The two classrooms are designed to enhance the practical skills, creativity and employability through hands-on training and access to modern equipment. The digital studio is fully equipped with digital cameras and a complete production setup. Structured training programs will be provided on photography, videography and digital content creation.
This project also included the enhancement of the Vocational Training Lab of the school. This includes the development of a Carpentry Section equipped with essential hand tools, battery-powered electric tools, and safety equipment. A Tailoring section was also developed, fitted with sewing machines and all necessary materials to support garment-making.
Necessary training programs are also planned for the students using the Vocational Lab.
Bank Fund is the Bank’s annual grant program supporting registered NGOs to implement community-benefiting projects across the Maldives. The NGOs selected received aid of MVR 200,000 to start and complete the projects.
